The Church has not recognised the reported apparitions at Garabandal as supernatural.
Between 1961 and 1965, four young girls in the mountain village of San Sebastián de Garabandal, in Cantabria, reported apparitions of St Michael the Archangel and of Our Lady under the title of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
Pilgrims climb to the grove of pine trees above the village to pray the Rosary. The reported apparitions have not been officially recognised by the Church.
