An invitation
At the internationally renowned Marian Shrines of Lourdes and Fátima, Our Blessed Lady appeals for prayer and penance, offering her maternal love, perpetual help and powerful protection to those who respond to her plea to stop offending God.
The year 2027 marks the 110th anniversary of the Fátima apparitions and, since the Feast of St James falls on a Sunday, is also a Jacobean Holy Year, offering pilgrims the opportunity to gain a full Plenary Indulgence at Santiago Cathedral. This special year offers you the perfect occasion to respond generously to Our Lady’s requests for penance, the daily Rosary and personal consecration.
Pilgrimages are rooted in Scripture, with Abraham’s earthly journey towards his heavenly homeland and the Holy Family’s annual journeys to Jerusalem.
We warmly invite you to join our 2027 Marian Pilgrimage to Lourdes and Fátima. In our troubled times, it is an opportunity to step away from the distractions of daily life, answer Our Lady’s call and draw closer to her Divine Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ.
